Emma always claimed to have "Spanish Blood" in her but so far, this evidence has yet to surface.
Harman is a surname which is found in Spain, not so Abell. She was certainly dark haired and olive skinned. However, John Harman and Ellen Tester do not appear Spanish. Tester is another surname which can be found in Spain. Eleanor Emma always believed her name to be Emma Eleanor and was always known as "Em". She was born a few months after her parents arrived from England.
