Dorothy L. Pinch
EPWORTH, Iowa -- Dorothy L. "Dot" Pinch, 84, of Maplewood, Minn., formerly of Epworth and Dubuque, passed away peacefully Monday, June 29, 2009, surrounded by family at St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Paul, Minn.

Services will be at noon Saturday, July 4, at the Reiff Funeral Home, Epworth, with the Rev. Corby Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Highview Cemetery, Epworth. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born on Feb. 8, 1925, in Saint Jo, Texas, daughter of William Haskell and Lena (Bumpus) Reed. She received her education in the Saint Jo school system.
She married John Pinch on Jan. 6, 1945, in Marietta, Okla.; he preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 2004.
She was employed at Buckbee Mears until her retirement in 1984.
Dot was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving are two children, Anna M. Quinn and Rodney J. (Barb) Pinch both of Stillwater, Minn.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She also was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Regina B. Pinch; a sister; and three brothers.
