William Allen "Bill" Haskell

William Allen "Bill" Haskell, 82, of Bay City and Cedar Lane, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008.

He was born March 10, 1926 in Beaumont, Texas to William Howard Haskell and Lynet Plumley Haskell.

He was a resident of Bay City for the past 27 years and a retired Pastor of St. Paul?s United Methodist Church in Bay City.

He is survived by: his daughter, Lynda Begnaud and husband Jerome of Houston; his son, Mark Haskell and wife Debbie of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Will Haskell of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Chris and wife Michiko Haskell of Austin, Dallas Begnaud and wife Carrie and their children Elias, Deacon, and Forest of Lafayette, Louisiana and Carmen McBride and husband Scott and their children Cameron and Avery of Waxahachie, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Jean Haskell in 1996 and wife, Doris Krenek Haskell in 2005.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday, August 7, 2008 at St. Paul?s United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Morgan officiating. Interment followed at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.

Pallbearers were Doc Frankson, Chuck Skelly, Dallas Begnand, Chris Haskell. Will Haskell and George Bentinck.
