WOMAN IS FIFTH IN FAMILY TO DIE SINCE MAY
Mrs. Mildred Emmott Haskell, 35, of Route 2, Stockton, died at her home Tuesday evening (Oct. 9, 1962) following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Richard Haskell.
Mrs. Haskell was the fifth member of her family to die since May 1. Her mother, Mrs. Carl Emmott, died in May; her father-in-law, Floyd Haskell, in June; her aunt, Mrs. Arthur Goulding in July, and her father, Carl Emmott, well known area cattle trucker was killed in a truck accident Aug. 24 near Kimball Stand.
Mrs. Haskell was born Sept. 21, 1927, in Fredonia. She was a member of Pleasant Valley E.U.B. Church, the Parents Club of Stockton and the Cassadaga Valley Central School P.T.A.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Steve Haskell, Mitchell Haskell and Keith Haskell; a daughter, Kathleen Haskell, all at home; and two brothers, Carl N. Emmott and Leland Emmott, Sinclairville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne B. Ostrander, Pleasant Valley E.U.B. Church pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Stockton.
