Lora R. (Hofmann) Haskell, 30, Avon, died Saturday, Sept. 8 following a car accident.
Born in Franklin, she was the daughter of Michael and Sharon (Follis) Hofmann. She married Allen Haskell on July 14, 2001 in West Terre Haute.
She was a seventh grade teacher at North Putnam Middle School. She was a 1999 graduate of Indiana State University and a member of Cartersburg Community Church.
She was a 10-year 4-H member, started a school newspaper at Indian Creek in Trafalgar, was president of the Sunshine Society, foreign exchange student to Spain in 1994, member of FCA and attended Baptist Youth Camp.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Asa "Levi" Haskell; her parents; and a sister, Lisa Sue Hofmann.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cartersburg Community Church, in Hendricks County, with the Rev. David Norris officiating.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
