Elaine M. Haskell
Elaine M. Haskell, 85, of Terre Haute died at 9:41 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009 in her residence. She was born to Joseph Gregory and Irene Jones Gregory. She was employed as a phone operator at Southwestern Bell. She was a member of the Catholic Church, and a proud member of the Democratic Party.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Conrad Gregory and her nephew, Conrad Gregory II.
She is survived by one son, Douglas Haskell and his wife, Laura of Florida; one daughter, Melanie Brodie of Terre Haute; three grandchildren, Amanda and Derek Davis and Craig Brodie; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Jaden Davis, and one niece, Susan Peters.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Roselawn Memorial Park with Deacon John Bamman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society. Greiner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
