HASKELL - Died at the home of her son, W.W. Haskell, of 215 North Third Street, on Wednesday morning, January 6, 1892, of old age, Mrs. CLARISSA HASKELL, aged 87 years, and 5 months.
Mrs. Haskell was born and raised in New Hampshire and had lived in Iowa 38 years. She was one of the oldest settlers in White Oak township and was highly respected by all who knew her. She lived to a ripe old age and leaves as a heritage to all a noble example of true womanhood. The remains will be taken to White Oak for interment and the funeral will take place from the White Oak church on Friday morning, January 8, at 11 o'clock.
