Carl E.Haskell
August 17, 2009 Carl E. Haskell, 75, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at home with family at his side. He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army, and a longtime member of a 12-step fellowship. Carl is survived by his wife of 50 years, Audrey (Ashlaw) Haskell; a daughter, Lori (Joseph) Cook; a grandson, Michael Cook; a granddaughter, Acacia Cook; a sister-in-law, Evon (Raymond) Tarbell; a niece; and a nephew. Memorial services will be Friday at 6 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hour will be Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, before services. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of CNY or Eastside Serenity (Fellowship Hall), 135 Walter Drive, Syracuse, NY 13206.
